I Love Sushi is a Japanese restaurant in Conyers, Georgia. It locates in a plaza that has other business that resembles a typical American near-the-highway shopping hub. There is a Kroger, a Captain D, a nail saloon, a gas station, and so on.
The owner of the restaurant, Hiromitan Tomioka, originally from Tokyo came to the United States with his wife 20 years ago. Mrs. Tomioka works as a waitress in the restaurant. Tomioka imports fresh fish, shrimp and other seafood they serve in the restaurant directly from Japan within one day after they were caught.
Tomioka only follows traditional and original Japanese recipes that he learned in Japan. He proudly puts the line, "Eat It Raw", on every menu. If a dish is served raw in Japan, it will be served raw in Tomioka's restaurant in Conyers. If the original recipe uses wasabi, Tomioka will use wasabi without being worried at all that his American customers probably cannot stand the horseradish that goes right into their eyes.
The restaurant is spotlessly clean. The restaurant gets a "100 A" on their health and safety inspection. It is featured on the local newspaper, The Rockdale Citizen, in the article called "Eateries earn honors for keeping it clean."
Conyers is not a metropolitan. There are not many foreigners living around the area. The customers of I Love Sushi are mostly the locals of Conyers. The fact that Tomioka does not serve cheese on everything does not seem to put off his customers at all. On some evenings, there are hardly any unoccupied tables.
